Co-founder of Microsoft (born 1955), philanthropist, and one of the world's wealthiest individuals. Met with Epstein multiple times between 2011-2014 at Epstein's Manhattan townhouse — well after his 2008 conviction. Flew on Epstein's Gulfstream jet at least once. Gates initially downplayed the relationship, then acknowledged meeting him for discussions about philanthropy. The New York Times reported Melinda French Gates was troubled by the association, contributing to their divorce. Gates later called the meetings "a huge mistake" and said he regretted them. Epstein reportedly pitched himself as an intermediary to help Gates win the Nobel Peace Prize.
